The question of the night: will Trump make a comeback or sink himself even deeper?
Stay tuned!
19:17 – Carson forgot he needs to keep walking? That’s embarrassing.
19:18 – they FORGOT about Kasich? This is so damn embarrassing. What a fiasco. What’s happening? Is everybody drunk at this debate?
19:20 – these questions have already been asked verbatim. Is everybody having a neurological episode?
19:22 – Cruz needs to stop scratching the podium. It’s making him look even more creepy.
19:26 – I’m not surprised somebody in Carson’s campaign died. Probably died of boredom.
19:28 – Cruz’s explanation of the Carson debacle makes him look weak and dishonest.
19:30 – Rubio is pouting already and asking everybody not to vote for Biden. Who is not running.
19:33 – Christie hit Rubio hard with the barb about his canned 30 – second responses. Rubio tries to defend himself and the audience boos him down. I like!
19:39 – Cruz sees no difference between North Korea and Iran. And this is the caliber of politician we have running for president.
19:46 – Trump’s foreign policy is more dovish than that of any Democrat. He’s completely opposed to any foreign involvement. He’s only aggressive in internal affairs.
19:52 – Cruz lays out the creepiest deportation scheme ever. The fellow is ill, folks.
20:00 – is Cruz reviving the death panels myth? What a piece of ugly Canadian trash.
20:05 – Trump is a bleeding Liberal, people. A stupid one, but a Liberal. He hates the wrong kind of immigrants but that’s the only departure I’m seeing, and it’s not a huge one.
20:16 – Rubio is right: Republican governments do tend to be very limited intellectually.
20:39 – Trump seems to have brought a single supporter who claps for him amidst silence.
20:42 – the Ham woman looks drunk.
21:14 – why are we talking about the draft all of a sudden? It’s ridiculous.
I’d donate $20 to Trump’s campaign if he says ‘Please clap’ after Jeb finishes answering a question.

It’s Bill’s fault. More missiles. North Korea is going to shoot missiles from a satellite.

The question of people “signing up” for Selective Service is misworded. Nowadays almost nobody physically signs up for that. It’s done automatically for young men when they register to vote — and in many states voter registration occurs by default with obtaining a driver’s license.
LikeLike
Because if the combat restriction against women is officially removed by Congressional legislation, then federal law already mandates that all eligible potential combatants be registered with the Selective Service.

But there is no draft, so the question is moot.

The issue is the Selective Service law — which is definitely still in effect (albeit invisible to most Americans).

Train wrecks that spill deadly flaming oil flumes into the air are bad for fetuses. Why isn’t anyone outraged that the Democrats are blocking the Keystone pipeline, a much more environmentally friendly method of fossil fuel transportation that would negate the need for much of the current oil transport via rail?

If there were an actual deadly spill that is happening right now, if course it’d be discussed. But wasting debate time on imaginary spills or drafts is weird.

I was a king a rhetorical question. 🙂
But the Selective Service law isn’t the draft — it’s the current law, and will be affected by any legal change in the combat status of women. (Google it and read the details.)

Ah, yes, Hurricane Katrina. When New Orleans had a Democratic mayor who is currently in prison, and Louisiana had a Democratic governor who refused to mobilize the National Guard or formally request help from the federal government (which was a legal requirement before the U.S. President could intervene).

Don’t you mean Antonio Brown? Whatever the reason, the government did not send help.. Brown doesn’t mention parties, mayors, governors or presidents. Anyways:
Wikipedia:
“On Sunday, August 28, President Bush spoke with Governor Blanco to encourage her to order a mandatory evacuation of New Orleans. However, during the testimony by former Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) chief Michael Brown before a U.S. House subcommittee on September 26, Representative Stephen Buyer (R-IN) inquired as to why President Bush’s declaration of state of emergency of August 27 had not included the coastal parishes of Orleans, Jefferson, and Plaquemines.[15] The declaration actually did not include any of Louisiana’s coastal parishes, whereas the coastal counties were included in the declarations for Mississippi and Alabama.[16][17] Brown testified that this was because Louisiana Governor Blanco had not included those parishes in her initial request for aid, a decision that he found “shocking.” After the hearing, Blanco released a copy of her letter, which showed she had requested assistance for “all the southeastern parishes including the City of New Orleans” as well specifically naming 14 parishes, including Jefferson, Orleans and Plaquemines.[18]
Then there was <a href=”https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_D._Brown#Hurricane_Katrina’>Heck of a job Brownie This fucking idiot also thought the government overreacted to the Deepwater Horizon spill.
Also who could forget Kanye West’s breakdown:

Who cares what Kanye West or any other celebrity thinks? Those privileged idiots have never run anything but their mouths.
Brown was basically incompetent, but he was pushed onto his sword for a cascading series of people who acted too late, including President Bush (assuming that’s who you’re calling “Shrub”), Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco (I suppose I could come up with a non-sexist insult to call her), and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin. (What can I call him that’s non-racist? How about “Jailbird”?)
