Democratic Debate in Flint

Finally, got to turn on the TV and caught the tail of the Democratic debate. A question about Detroit ‘ s school system was being asked. Hillary answered with a very specific list of measures to help the schools that was so detailed that it sounded like she’d spent the last 3 years thinking about schools in Detroit.

And then Bernie interrupted with “My campaign is not about thinking small; it’s about thinking big!” And spoke about taxing billionaires.

What else can I say?

P.S. The question a bugged – eyed lady asked of Hillary as to whom she prays to is wildly inappropriate. WTF is CNN doing, giving floor to outright crazies?

Presidents are best when they do not micromanage. This was President Jimmy Carter’s biggest weakness. Apparently it could also be President Hillary Clinton’s weakness.

    1. So knowing what to do and putting in place an actual plan is now micromanaging? All a president should do is make speeches about nothing in particular?

I’ve got to agree with Clarissa, there is no explanation for this insane reasoning but sexism. If Hillary is a bad choice because she actually found out what was going on with the Detroit school system and has a way of addressing the problem, then there is literally nothing she can do to satisfy the people who hate her. Because all that they want is a politician with a penis. Nothing else matters to them.

I dunno…President George W. Bush didn’t micromanage, and he turned out to be one hell of a bad President.

And no, Obama is nothing like him. Obama is a helluva lot better.
