Today I came to the hospital for the 6 – week post-op appointment. It feels quite incredible that I won’t have to be driving to this hospital 3 times a week any longer. The reason why I learned to drive and got a license was because I knew I’d want to get pregnant and would need to drive to this clinic that’s located an hour away from where I live.
Well, maybe it’s not surprising after all that people suspect me of planning everything.
In your defence, I will point out that you wound up having to take Uber rides for a significant part of that time, so your “planning everything” did not work out entirely as anticipated … 🙂

No, I knew I wouldn’t be able to drive by the end of the process. I was planning to hire a student to drive me. But then Uber came to town, and that problem was solved.
