It’s Small World. I never read anything by him before. Or heard of his existence. But I’m greatly enjoying this book.

It’s impressive how well Small World holds up as a satire of academia after 32 years. I guess that means that academics never change.

Response to Multitasking.
I reiterate what I said once before. I do not think any male human can multitask like that. I certainly cannot. I believe it to be a uniquely female capability.
