Vacation PHOTOS, okay…as long as they don’t try to show their vacation HOME VIDEOS — or worse yet, their day-to-day home videos of every boring aspect of their mundane, routine existence.
Do you remember the murders of Chandra Levy and Laci Peterson? American cable news watchers got to see a vast number of incredibly boring vignettes of those young ladies talking with their families at home, from home video clips taken by admiring family members.
When I was born in 1945, long before home — or even commercial video tape — had been invented, my mother convinced my father it purchase a silent 16 mm home move camera to capture pictures of me growing up. I’m very grateful that he never used it, not once in my childhood.

Yes, home videos are taking it up a notch. Showing them to people is a great way to test how far their politeness would stretch.
