Bernie Sanders has the most horrible campaign manager known to humanity. Bernie could have been more successful in his campaign without this tool who is slavishly besotted by Reince Priebus.

Dan Malloy, a Clinton surrogate, was picked by the utterly corrupt payday loan industry supporter Debbie Wasserman Schultz to lead the ‘platform’ committee in the upcoming democratic national convention. This is an influential committee that sets the future direction and agenda for the democratic party.
Talk about tone-deaf.

The republican party is doing such a huge favor to the democrats by being the troglodytes that they are now. When they’ll become socially liberal (and it’s just a matter of time), how would you ever distinguish between the two parties?

-Both parties have actually switched ideologies several times in US history. When republicans become more socially liberal, the democrats will become more socially conservative (they have to maintain competition, after all). Then in a few decades it’ll switch again. It’s happened a lot.

I suspect that Bernie is ultimately going to be largely irrelevant to the general election outcome.
The DNC isn’t going to let him have much of an impact on the party platform, and after the nominating process is over and done, all the attention will be on Hillary and Trump screaming at each other right up to election day.
