Sore Loser

So Cruz got to the stage at the RNC and refused to endorse Trump? And made nods to the #NeverTrump movement?

Hah.

    1. “Or perhaps he has principles, like the Democrats who won’t endorse Hillary.”

He spent the first half of the primaries praising Trump to high heavens in the (mistaken) hopes that when Trump’s campaign fizzled out, he’d get Trump voters.

lol principles. Man, it’s like you’ve lost all ability to process information. This is not some decades-old trivia. This shit happened six months ago.

  1. Just youtubing some speeches from the repub reality show and a thought occurred to me.

The US has entered a dynastic phase of its politics and now I’m wondering if Trump’s campaign is just as much about launching his childrens’ political careers as becoming president himself….

Listening to Donald Jr, Eric and Ivanka is like being a live participant of a focus group and I keep waiting to be handed an evaluation form to hand out…..

  2. “Trump advisers said on Wednesday night that Mr. Trump had been unhappy with the text of Mr. Cruz’s speech but held out for the remote possibility that Mr. Cruz would make a last-minute endorsement ..”

    1. “Mr. Trump said he was convinced that he could persuade Mr. Erdogan to put more effort into fighting the Islamic State. But the Obama administration has run up, daily, against the reality that the Kurds — among the most effective forces the United States is supporting against the Islamic State — are being attacked by Turkey, which fears they will create a breakaway nation.

Asked how he would solve that problem, Mr. Trump paused, then said: “Meetings.””

    2. Predictable:

“The day that became abrogated was the day that became personal,” Cruz said, referencing Trump’s comments about his family during the primary. “I am not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my father. And that pledge was not a blanket commitment that if you [attack] Heidi I’m going to nonetheless go like a servile puppy dog” and stick to the pledge anyway.

Politicians usually leave those kind of attacks to push polls and whisper campaigns. They don’t directly do that. That’s why McCain could stand up and support Shrub after a push poll in SC insinuated McCain had an illegitimate black child (he doesn’t, he adopted Bridget from Bangladesh).
