I have no idea why we are supposed to be listening to Bloomberg. I’m afraid of turning on the convention because I don’t want to see his smug face. Such great speakers except for this one useless fellow.

Why Bloomberg, indeed? He has much more in common with Trump than Hillary — both men are New York billionaires who change party affiliation as easily as they change their suits.
I wonder who Hillary thinks might be persuaded to vote Democratic by his no-doubt savage Trump-bashing — perhaps wealthy white independents…?

Bloomberg did best poking holes in Trump’s business acumen to speak to independents who leaned Republican. Otherwise, meh.

I think Bloomberg played an important role in explaining why no “Independent” should vote for Trump.

Agree with Shakti. I think he was put there as a foil to Trump, to remind people that Trump is a shitty businessman. That message could only be convincingly delivered by a self-made billionaire.

Yes, and it did make an impression. I only just discovered that Bloomberg is 4 times richer than Trump even claims to be. It did make sense to put him on stage after all.
