  1. It’s very common for people in glamour industries not to have a university degree because it takes away from their prime earning years. She constantly worked as a model from about 16 to maybe 35 (being generous here) so why would anyone expect it of her? She certainly didn’t need it. I don’t get the lie; who in her life actually cares one way or another?

    1. Even Trump has a consciousness of what’s appropriate. A wife who is nothing but a piece of meat is not prestigious even among Russian oligarchs. In the US, it’s simply shameful.

      1. But why simply wouldn’t she then use her ample free time to go to university after she got married? Paying for a university education along with the gobs of tutoring would be a trivial exercise.

        And really they could spin it any way they want. If she didn’t go, it’s because it didn’t make sense for her at the time because of her opportunity costs. If she went she could say she went as an older student like many working Americans. If she was still going through school, that’s life.

        If Trump really wanted an educated wife or truly cared about what people in his social circle thought, he could have found an educated woman or easily made her educated.

        Most Americans don’t run in circles where there’s a deep and abiding sense of shame because you merely have an undergraduate degree. 🙂 Plus, she’s not a presidential or VP candidate. The rules are different. If anyone believes Trump or his children got into Ivy League schools because they were brilliant, they are exceptionally naive.

        1. I don’t think there is a tutor who’d help here. Not everybody can be educated. As for Trump’s children, they are not stupid. But this poor woman was specifically raised to be nothing but a thing, an object.

      2. Ironically, in “Related” posts to this post are “How Do Intellectuals Get Educated” and there one sees “Where Intellectuals Work” in “Related.”

        You wrote it does not matter in both cases, but now not sabotaging one’s career by useless to one degree is shameful.

        I do not think she is an intellectual, of course. But I also don’t want to call all models merely “pieces of meat.” I am sure not every pretty woman can be good at it, and that it is a demanding profession too.

        1. “Model”, in this case and similar ones, is code for prostitute. She isn’t really a model. Just like she isn’t really an architect. These “models” are transported by the plane-ful wherever rich men congregate so they can select as many as they want for the day or the week. In Eastern Europe it’s a well-established business. But it doesn’t occur to anybody to marry these interchangeable pieces of tail. As I said, even Russian oligarchs are now marrying serious, professional women. Have you heard about Chubais? He tossed his stupid pretty wife and married a homely but brilliant filmmaker. And there are dozen stories like that.

  2. Told you the other day she dropped out from education and went modelling at the end of high school… Again, this is widely known in Slovenia and it’s surprising how anyone would think this could pass unnoticed in this day of globalisation.

    1. Exactly. As all of Trump’s frauds, this one is aimed at the gullible and the politically correct. People are so terrified of the word “prostitute” that they’ve been going on and on about how multilingual and educated she is. Poor idiots.
