Actually, Trump at 6’2″ should be over half a foot taller than the 5’7″ Putin — but the picture makes its point, anyway.

You published your real name (I assume) by mistake, Dreidel. Might want to email Clarissa to delete this post.

Happy belated birthday, David! May people begin to see the true you and not the false impression of you they have created for themselves. This is my birthday wish for you.

I can see the movie now:
Brokeback Superpower Summit
It could even inspire a new sitcom/reality soap Alina & Melania as the spurned msitress and trophy wife share a beachfront villa in Sochi and have kooky adventures together…

Ok, I never thought I’d see the day when Trump/ Putin political fan fiction became news instead of languishing in some forgotten corner of An Archive of Our Own.
Or Scotland might have some important diplomatic repercussions (Brexit).

Very interesting article about the operation of ISIS and their special unit for spreading terror to other parts of the world, based on an interview with a former recruit currently jailed in Germany. What impressed me were the reasons for his disillusionment, among other things. Also, now I understand better why one cannot ignore Syria, except for pity for Syrian people and desire to stop their immigration to EU. Till ISIS is completely destroyed, they will bring terror to other countries, one way or another.
