Bernie Sanders has established a PAC to promote his revolution. While I certainly applaud the idea, I don’t believe he’ll be very successful. After you spend the whole campaign riling people up against incrementalism, it’s not easy to pivot into the “yay to incrementalism!” that this PAC presupposes.
Santa Clauses make miracles, and that’s what people expect from them. A Santa Claus who requires you to do work is no Santa at all.

Sort or related observation of mine: The people that actually benefit from a post-nation state reality are a small minority. Most people don’t want to be rootless cosmopolitans (they might like travelling a bit more than people in the past, they might consider a move to another country) but most people don’t want that and don’t benefit from a reality where that’s considered the norm.
