With the declining life expectancy for the US poor (attributable to the younger Bush’s reforms) isn’t that what US health policy is? To paraphrase: “enjoy your freedom until you die, but die sooner because you can’t afford state-of-the-art healthcare.”

According to the report, Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program enrollees will total 68 million people in 2016 – or 16 million more people than anticipated six years ago, when the law passed.
