After the groping video, I hope that Hillary is holding at least one more thing up her sleeve. We need something else to come out in the last two weeks of October. Or maybe she is planning to provoke him into attacking yet another individual, like he did with the Khans and Machado. That reliably plunges his ratings.
What I really loved is how the video was released a couple of hours after Trump yet again asserted that his temperament was the best thing about him. He so set himself up for this one.

Assange claims that WikiLeaks is going to be releasing material on Hillary weekly for the next ten weeks. (Why over ten* weeks when the election will be over in four?)
It will be interesting to see whether this hurts or actually helps Hillary. Evidence of her duplicity with voters and her snuggling up to Wall Street may drain enthusiasm from her left-wing base and from millennials, reducing turn-out on election day. OR it may reassure moderates who actually want a pro-free-trade, pro-business Democrat in office.

Well the media certainly seem to have gotten over their distaste for Clinton and are running interference for her.
I’m reminded of the 1996 Russian election which was widely regarded as fixed and supported as such because people didn’t want a communist to win (though he was doubtless more in tune with the population than the bipolar drunk Jelcin).

The 1996 election was, indeed, fixed. And that’s when the nascent Russian democracy perished because nobody trusted the electoral process after that. All of today’s anti-Putin dissidents participated in the fraud. They thought it was OK because it was for a good cause. Little did they know that a few years later, their exploits would be repeated by their antagonists to shut them up and displace them from power.
Poetic justice, man.
