I asked N if he ever met men who talk about women like Trump in the notorious video and he says yes, when he was an undocumented field worker in the UK, he shared living quarters with a guy from Armenia who’d been so sex-deprived back home that he boasted of having had sex with sheep and goats. He talked like that.

I don’t think Clarissa meant that as a sincere defense of Trump. I think she’s pointing out that only pathetic and desperate men speak like that.
It’s not necessarily disqualifying for president I suppose. But it is gross, weak, and loathsome.

A really good test for any Trump supporter who wants to be honest with himself: how would you feel about the video if it starred Obama instead of Trump? The same text, the same circumstances, but a different protagonist.
I’d feel exactly the same: what a sleazy, pathetic, weak fellow.

Or Hillary. There are women who, especially when they are young, do all kinds of trash talk. What if Hillary talked like that about a young man who is half her age on camera? What would the reaction be?

Yes, guys talk like that. Unfortunately, I worked with a very racist Mexican guy who would constantly boast of sex tales. (This is where liberals are really bigoted, they think only white people are racist.) I actually have more experiences with drugs than women, but of course I can’t say that in a work situation. But I would remain quite. So he would make fun of me and say I was a virgin or gay. Finally, I said I’m neither, just ask your mom and sister. He looked like he was going to punch me but didn’t. I don’t think he would’ve won if he did and he knew it. It was a really crappy job, best part was when they got rid of me and I got 6 months unemployment insurance.

I’d say only pathological guys talk like that regularly, but…. there is a kind of guy talk about sex that’s all about being as outrageous and boastful (and often as gross) as possible. Participants know that most of the content is fictional but seem to find it fun while it’s happening (yeah, men are nuts).
It’s not a daily, weekly or even monthly occurence but any man who’s hung around enough men long enough has heard it a few times.

Women do the same thing. The shit I heard from my 60-year-old female friends about young men. . . yeeeeh. But politicians need to know how not to get caught. It’s in the job description.

I once had a job where my desk was kind of hidden from the rest of the office. I mostly kept quiet and did my work and the other people in the office (all youngish adult to middle aged women) would forget I was there and talk freely…. very informative is all I can say.
After a couple of months the furniture was rearranged and I was more visible and the information flow stopped….

Of course, there is enormous, horrifying racism in Latin America. One has to be beyond dumb not to recognize that.
I’m sorry you had this nasty experience. Mexicans are, indeed, very sexist, even women. Ridicule and humiliation is the only way to fight it.
