The Shockingly Truthful Bill

Obama care premiums will rise by 22%. So why did everybody rag on Bill Clinton for saying that Obama care is a mess?

Bill Clinton, by the way, is the only person on the political scene who is not offering up lies about returning back to the nation-state model. He isn’t running for anything and he lets useful, honest things slip out. I dislike him profoundly but he’s worth listening to.

Everybody else is pandering and lying because voters don’t want the truth. It’s shocking that Bill Clinton is suddenly the most honest person around.

  1. This kind of thing is exactly why people get so paranoid and feel like they need to make a lot of money: to self insure against huge increases in basic living expenses and for retirement and old age and emergencies and babies and such.

I have a friend who went straight into finance out of college because he felt he needed to make money in a hurry to support himself, his younger sister and his mother. He’s currently living with his girlfriend, a part time Pilates instructor. He’s said that all this election is doing is making him feel like he needs to make more money than ever to “protect [my] family.”

      1. Not everything is Freudian developmental traumas. :p Younger sister is a psychologist. She doesn’t like Obamacare because it messed up her reimbursement rates. Their dad was a non-functional alcoholic who died when they were teenagers. Their mother is so severely ill she cannot walk or stand without extreme dizziness and she only has a high school education. They all have health issues that require supervision.

        1. Completely healthy millionaires are just as likely to go crazy with anxiety because of money worries as anybody else. Anxiety doesn’t need to be fed from the outside.
