We manufacture our own reality every day. But many people don’t want to own up to their responsibility for shaping their reality, so they project it onto the world. Here is an example. It’s curious how an author who is not a complete idiot is managing not to understand that her story is insane.

When Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton talk about trade they each appear to envision the same target audience: a 50-year-old auto worker in Michigan or Ohio hoping his job will last until retirement.” True. And so damn boring.

What if Donald Trump were gay?

  1. “What if Donald Trump were gay?”

I know you hate that I keep repeating this theme, but since it’s well past midnight in the Arizona time warp, and nobody else has responded to your Thursday Encyclopedia entries as they slip into Friday, here’s my two cents:

    Q. “What if Donald trump were a female psychopath with no morals, core beliefs, or adherence to the law, instead of a male psychopath with no morals, core beliefs, or adherence to the law?”

    A. “S/he’d be a schoo-in, added by the main-stream media, to be our next President.”

  2. But perhaps you might be in agreement with my disgust that a federal government jury has just let the idiot brothers Ammon and Ryan Bundy (the leaders of the absurd standoff between federal authorities and the militant occupation of federal land in Oregon earlier this year) off the hook, and cleared them of all federal charges.

They were charged with carrying firearms on federal property, seizing federal property, and interfering with government access to the the property while occupying it.No one doubts that this is exactly what they did — the prosecution presented overwhelming evidence.

Yet they were found not guilty by a group of sympathetic “peers” apparently too stupid to get out of jury duty.

They aren’t off the hook yet. They’re still in custody, and are scheduled to face state (Nevada) charges for their offenses against the state of Nevada while claiming to act in the name of the U.S. Constitution. We’ll see if saner heads prevail in the coming weeks…

  3. \ It often takes hours, weeks, or years to realize that a particular interaction was uncomfortable and violating, to finally recognize the discomfort, fear, and anger that had hidden beneath the polite smile all along. That can happen with harassing comments and it can happen with rape.

If it takes years to recogmize rape, how could it have been rape? (I do not talk about cases of child abuse here, but about adult women only.)

A funny explanation why female driving is forbidden:

Donald Trump Talks Like a Woman
And strange as it sounds, it might be one of the reasons he’s done as well as he has.

it may be exactly these traits—and their associations with emotional connectedness and personal vulnerability—that help to counter the opposition’s portrait of Trump as a domineering misogynist who lacks empathy and concern for others.

Once read a story on a feminist blog written by a woman who realized she’d been raped. Her boyfriend preferred to have sex in the evenings but she preferred in the mornings. She never told him and always consented enthusiastically to evening sex. But the dirty rotten bastard didn’t guess she would have preferred to have sex in the morning. So she now realizes that was clearly rape.

This was the most popular feminist blog ever back in 2009. When I read the post, I realized I should definitely become a blogger because I knew I could write better than that crap.

  4. How White Nationalists Learned To Love Donald Trump
Once they believed he was a secret Jew. Now he has more white-power support than any mainstream candidate in modern politics. Here’s how it unfolded.

    I 🙂 :

\ In the fevered white nationalist worldview, it’s inconceivable that a New York real estate magnate could make billions of dollars without support from a Jewish financial conspiracy. “Trump is not a Jew, he just wishes he was,” one VNN poster wrote in 2006.

    Also:

\ Police were called to a London university last night after Jewish students were “trapped” in a room by pro-Palestine supporters who descended on the building.

A woman claimed she was assaulted during the chaotic scenes at University College London (UCL), which came ahead of a speech by Israeli writer Hen Mazzig.

Mr Hazzig’s appearance, which was given the go-ahead at the last minute, stirred up controversy due to his time with the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF).

When the attendees were finally allowed out of the building, with help from security and police, an angry crowd can be heard yelling “shame” at them.

How does this behavior go with freedom of speech?

And what is meant by “due to his time with the IDF”? Every Israeli Jew is drafted into the army. I guess, every Israeli Jew is “controversial” for them. Wonder if they would see members of Palestinian terrorist orgs as” controversial” , but think I already know the answer.
