Who’s to Blame?

Let’s not blame the Bernie voters or the Stein voters or Hillary’s likeability or Comey or even Putin. The only thing to take out from this shameful spectacle that we’ve been witnessing is that the majority of American voters like the shit that Trump is peddling. It’s tempting to hide from this intolerable realization behind all sorts of what ifs. But it’s time to be strong and face the truth: your neighbors, colleagues, fellow shoppers, etc LIKE. THIS. SHIT.

I know. I am not sad, I am really, really pissed.

    Fuckin’ sexists, racists, and xenophobes.

And the bullshit phrase, “I don’t know what it is, but Hillary is just not likable!” is just code for “I cannot stomach the idea of a woman president!”

I guess we finally get a president who looks and acts exactly how the world sees the US: a fake, duplicitous, ugly, boorish, loud, insecure, uninformed bully.

  2. Drunken list:
    1) Take actions to “blend” in with neighbors.
    2) Reconsider and reevaluate social media practices.
    3) A semi major/minor medical procedure.

    5)Profit!

  3. Halleluja, the Trumpening is upon us! Western civilization has been saved!

Name calling, slander, denigration rather than enlightened debate are the hallmarks of the left. The fact that Bernie Sanders, an outsider almost won the Democrat nomination, and Trump also an outsider won the Republican nomination and is now very close to winning the presidency, should be a lesson to both academia and the political establishment that you ignore the concerns of the people at your peril.

And please, DON’T COME TO CANADA! The last thing we need up here is more idiocy from people who nearly ruined their own country for the sake of a worthless PC ideology.

    1. The Western civilisation is saved…by a Putin puppet. Think about it, idiot!

      So, Trump is a leftist!

Fighting PC with a right-wing SJW like Trump…good luck, fucktard!

  4. Oh I think there is plenty of blame to go around. The Trump supporters are idiots but they have always been a part of our world. Obama won twice easily and he would have beaten Trump. So the problem is….why couldn’t the Dems pull it out again?

Dem failures: The Dems didn’t put anybody up electable this year. I’ve been nervous about Hillary since the beginning. But Bernie–the ancient socialist– would have crashed even harder than Hillary. The Dems should have realized they needed a youngish charismatic speaker. Clinton deserved it, for sure. But Americans will never vote for her for some reason.

Clinton’s failures: Getting Kaine as a running mate. Clinton needed to turn out the minority and the youth vote. Instead she thought she would get the centrist Repub vote. Those people will never ever ever vote for her. And Kaine wasn’t exciting enough to turn out the vote. And Clarissa is right here of course. Clinton and Kaine were too boring: they lacked Obama’s and Trump’s reality show pyrotechnics. So these idiots just didn’t bother to vote today because they didn’t like Clinton’s voice.

Third party voters: These are the worst fuckers of all. Anybody who voted for Jill Stein or Gary Johnson in THIS election should fucking be ashamed of themselves. They brought us Bush and now they brought us Trump.

Hopefully these third party fuckers who wanted to “shake up the system” didn’t bring us a nuclear war this time. I’m so unbelievably pissed and disgusted. And worried. This is really awful.

      1. And now Clinton is giving her concession speech. I still belive what I wrote above–that she was the wrong front runner. But I did and do like her. I think she would have been a remarkable president I would have felt so good about our country had we voted her in. Sorry Ms. Rodham. This sucks but you are great.

        1. I lover her, too. I’m not listening to any speeches because it’s too painful. I’m at the airport and I feel like an animal that is being hunted because Trump’s ugly voice sounds from every TV and there’s nowhere to hide.

          1. I made the mistake of reading her concession speech (couldn’t bring myself to watch her give it.) And I started to cry. I was trying to avoid tears because it felt over dramatic but it made me feel a bit better.

              1. Yes. I think that may have been her speech. So sad. And still so graceful and classy. I never thought I would feel this distraught. I was worried but not truly prepared for her to lose. So many polls were so wrong.

              2. I wasn’t worried, not for a second. I prepared a party. I was absolutely 100% certain we would win. That party will feel like a wake. 🙁

    1. Oh wow. That’ is just the limit. If there is anything worse than Trump or a Trump voter, it’s the Stein contingency. Wow. It’s taking everything I have not unleash every curse word I know on to this comment thread. The Green Party has now helped unleash two disastrous presidents upon us. How are you progressive politics now folks? Wow.
