Two Countries, One Government

The worst part is that I’m getting bombarded with news items about Nikki Haley’s ridiculous appointment in two languages. Russians are obsessed with Trump’s cabinet picks and have been salivating over this appointment even worse than the US media. There’s literally nothing else on the news in either country.

  1. I still cannot believe that the American right elected Vladimir Putin’s rentboy. I was only 12 when the Berlin Wall fell, but I remember the Cold War well enough to know that Americans shouldn’t vote for KGB dupes.

Knowing what I know about the Cold War I am genuinely surprised that the CIA allowed Donaldik Fyodorvich to win.

I know! I can’t get over it. It’s the same people who were ranting against “the commies” just a couple of decades ago. And now they are getting their news from RT and praising KGB agents. That’s one of the greatest ironies of history I have witnessed.

I am not surprised. If they were not the sharpest pencil in the box then, why expect something different now?
