Adidas

I bought Klara this Adidas sports outfit as a joke but unless you are from my country (or, apparently, Argentina), you won’t get why it’s hilarious.

N concealed from me for years that he used to wear one of these to go outside  (not to work out but just to go about). It’s only when he was very secure in our relationship that he confessed this dark secret.

  1. What is the joke? Because it was a deficit in FSU, coveted by many, despite not being a good quality product in America?

I wore Adidas top in Israel in my teens. Which we bought in Israel, and it was of good quality and not a joke in any way.

  2. I didn’t get those references. It just looks like old school baby athleisure (sans legwarmers), which is hilarious in itself since when do babies need to dress up to go work out at their baby gym? Or to hang out with other babies at the gym’s baby room?

    1. In the former USSR, it was considered the height of chic among some social classes to wear these sports outfits as regular clothes. You’d know that a fellow is working for some minor crime boss by the fact of him wearing this attire. It’s like the Soprano wannabes uniform.
