And she’s finally got a tooth!
We went out to a restaurant to celebrate this momentous occasion. Klara loves going out to restaurants. She is so happy to be able to observe all the new people and new surroundings that she sits there, quiet as a mouse, requiring no attention or entertainment. We’ve been going out to restaurants with her since she was barely 2 months old, and there’s never been a problem. We know that we are extraordinarily lucky because a baby is under no obligation to be this kind.
Woohoo! Go Klara!

I hope the rest of the teeth are not as hard-won. This one cost us all 3 days of suffering.

IME, incisors and premolars are tough on the kids. Molars seem to be less painful, or by the time kids get molars they are older and don’t seem to be bothered so much by it.

Finally!
What does “goooooool” mean? And what new and interesting things does she get to chomp on with one tooth?

There was a Latin American sports announcer who popularized yellin goooooooooool when goals are scored in soccer. It became famous just before a particular World Cup (forget just which one) and now announcers all over the world do it.
