It’s N’s birthday but we won’t be able to go to his favorite place (Joe’s Crab Shack) because he comes from work at 7 pm and it’s too late to drive out there with Klara.
So I’m recreating his favorite dish from there (one of those seafood boils in tin buckets) at home. It’s super easy, too, because all you need to do is boil the seafood in Sam Adams with baby potatoes and corn on the cob.
And as a gift, he’s getting clothes from Buck Mason. They were one Shark Tank but didn’t get a deal because they are 100% American-made, and such companies never get deals. But I loved their clothes and thought they would be perfect for N because they are in this calm, understated, and manly style.
I got N a long-sleeved Henley, and it looked amazing on him. He is a beautiful man, so everything looks amazing on him, but this became his favorite shirt, so now I got him more.
P.S. What’s really hilarious is that when I want to keep a secret from N, I publish it on my blog.
I just saw this article and thought of this post. You might need to perfect your seafood bucket if this is true.

Oh, horrible news!!! I wondered why the place was so empty when we went there a couple of weeks ago. Shit, I hate this.
