If I were on this vacation without Klara, I wouldn’t mind the endless rain in the least. I love rain, and I could stay in bed reading, which is enough to make me feel happy.
But I feel guilty that I brought a kid to this place where she’s stuck inside all day, and nothing fun is happening.

If it’s not cold, don’t worry about the rain, you could take Klara for a walk in the park. You might all enjoy the experience, away from traffic. She could wear rubber boots to jump in puddles, feed ducks if there’s a lake and have fun with a mini umbrella. Walking down muddy trails can be fun too, if you don’t mind getting dirty!

We often scare locals back in Illinois with our walks in the rain. I agree, they are a lot of fun. But this one was the subtropical storm Alberto. It was warm but it was a real deluge.
