What I’m really looking forward to is the emergence of a genre targeted at people between the ages of 19 years 2 months and 11 days and 20 years 3 months and 2 days. I don’t know how we did without it until now.

    That sounds like a beautiful dream. The real question is what races would be allowed read and write such books….

    It reminds me of the “stage 2” toddler foods you see at the supermarket. I have never bought any, and I’m not sure what they are for, except to extract money from nervous rookie parents. “OMG, I’m too old to buy YA books anymore… what comes next?”
