More War

Somehow, “let’s withdraw from Afghanistan” magically transformed into “let’s send drone strikes to wipe out a bunch of random toddlers.” Took all of a few days.

This “withdrawal” is only a pretext for more endless war.

  1. “for more endless war”

The mighty US military can’t defeat a bunch of medieval minded goat fuckers in the mountains, but it does know how to bomb the crap out of kids!

Finally, a foe they can defeat!

And at least they fired the guy that pointed out they abandoned military bases before getting civilians out… the weapons were obviously left on purpose as an excuse to drop more bombs on more children because Taliban scary and look new enemy Isis-K (now world threat number one…. who heard of them before 5 minutes ago?)

It is possible that the psychopaths who run the so-called military industrial complex deliberately kill and maim defenceless innocents in order to manufacture resentment and the next generation of “enemy”, meaning that they never really wanted to eliminate the Taliban.

Since they could kill every living thing in Afghanistan if they wanted to, behaving in this way serves them.

That explanation seems more logical than denying their lethality imo.

      1. I agree that Afghanistan (and Iraq and Syria et al) are military actions carried out for their own sake. There is no desire for anything like traditional “victory” it’s all about enriching the MIC in perpetuity and they’ll do whatever ghastly thing they need to keep that money pump flowing.

To that end, the occasional blood sacrifice of children serves their purpose (to continue wealth transfer).

But I am also saying that they couldn’t win anything like a traditional military victory if they wanted to. They can destroy things and kill people from afar and that’s it. It’s an absurd science fiction scenario of the supposed world’s most powerful military that’s helpless against a bunch of sodomite hillbillies….
