It was one machine in one bus station for two weeks, paid for by a private sports festival that thus very cannily managed to get their ads in the whole national press and, apparently, international. Local government had very little to do with this – I guess they could have not allowed it at all but why bother.
I love the “allowed to use public transport for free” phrasing though. How shall I put it … using public transport for free in Cluj does not exactly require 20 squats’ worth of effort 😉
