I have no words.

Why didn’t Trump do the same thing with the BLM money? Why is this always so one-sided? If it’s ok to steal the opposition’s money and give it to your own supporters, everybody should do it.

  3. There isn’t a good enough stronger version of disgusted that I can come up with. How dare they. I’m so sick of all this bullshit. I hope people take their refunds and another way is found to help the truckers.

  4. The way the message that this is unacceptable gets across is the donors show up to the shiny offices of GoFundMe and express their displeasure in person. Might I suggest “mostly peaceful protests” should suffice.

  5. Given GFM’s previous history of yanking donation pages for political causes they don’t like, I was surprised that the truckers chose that platform at all, and not something more free-speechy.

    That said… is that even legal?

      1. Apparently, people were just using GFM because it has more name recognition, and the truckers have been on GiveSendGo all along. So not completely their own boneheadedness.

        Even if this statement (was) true, what matters now, is this:
        Canadians, seem to be catching up pretty fast.

        In just one week, they’re leading the entire world, in the loudest roars in the country’s history, and they are showing the entire world, how take back freedom. They will not stop. The roar is only getting louder.

Bad Kitty is saying this morning, that GFM got so much pushback on the “redistributing” aspect of that plan, that they are now “streamlining” the process to automatically refund the donors, instead of requiring donors to request a refund (and as many people as donated, and are now ticked off, you know that would have poleaxed their website and their customer service dept. for several days, if not weeks).
