Told You So

Not only is Bryan Cranston a lousy actor who completely spoiled Breaking Bad, he’s also a moron. The guy isn’t young. He achieved everything. Groveling and whelping like a pathetic, needy puppy at his age is unseemly and revolting.

And I said years ago he’s a shit actor.

Apparently in America college professors of history have never heard of Stalinist show trials or of Maoist struggle sessions. No wonder all this shite is coming out of US humanities departments.
And quite frankly, if people at the LA Times think that such an article is journalism, there is no hope left.

Of course they’ve heard of them….. it’s exactly what they want and have been working for! They always imagine themselves as the judge and can’t process the idea that they’d ever be the ones in the dunce caps kneeling in front of the jeering crowds…

That, at least, is my working hypothesis and I’ve yet to come across any real counter evidence.

My experience with these types of people matches what you say.

My first reaction was that someone needs to give this guy a book on Jewish humor, which is all about laughing at the people who oppress you because you do not have any other weapons. Then I remembered that Cranston once, on Seinfeld, played a dentist who converted to Judaism and therefore feels that he is allowed to make Jewish jokes.

In the past there was satire that one could use to diminish the oppressor, i.e. gain some control. But now the reality is such a joke. I sometimes see the posts from ‘Not the bee’ on Twitter which look like the ‘Babylon bee’ posts. I swear, many times I thought I’m reading the ‘Babylon Bee’ posts and then realized, this is not satire, it’s actually reporting.

    This struck me
“What is safe? Well, emotionally safe. Without judgment, safe. All-inclusive, safe. Empathetic, safe. And that’s what gives me hope with new generations,” he says. “Because it’s a beautiful thing to say, ‘We’re all entitled to be who we are without judgment.’”
But no, there’s no such safe space. It’s a lie.

What does the world look like, where we beautifully accept, include, and refrain from judgement on people who steal, cheat, molest children, beat wives, commit violent robberies, leave dog poop on the sidewalks, dump trash in the woods, release industrial pollutants into the waterways, don’t keep their promises, abandon their children, etc. ?

Absolutely some things require judgement. In the context of what he is saying, having the “wrong” opinion is judged while actual violence isn’t. It’s scary how these people think/

Yeah, these people are psychotic. They think you must judge people on loyalty and proper forms of obeisance, rather than, you know, actual behavior.

By definition, puppies don’t whelp. Only mature female dogs can give birth to puppies!
