What’s happening with Tucker? I tried watching today but he was clumsily crushing on AOC and it became embarrassing to watch. He’s going to get her elected president, for our sins.

The anti-puberty (aka the hormonal explosion that snuffs out the process that starts with puberty) will come for all of us and it won’t be pretty. It’s not supposed to be pretty. But we should always try to keep it dignified and, ideally, private.

In comparison to the fire he put into a discussion of AOC’s makeup routines, the following segment on Canadian trucker protests was so half-hearted, I started dozing off and almost fell from the sofa.

    I think the segment on AOC was supposed to be funny, considering how Tucker kept smirking all the way through it.

    Did you fall asleep before he started yelling angrily about how Ukraine is provoking a fight with Putin?

      I don’t watch his Ukraine segments. They are so boring and repetitive that it’s a waste of time.

      As for the AOC segment, if he could stay lucid, he’d know that a 50-year-old guy slobbering over a 30-year-old woman is never a good look. Everybody knows what it’s about and it’s uncomfortable to watch.

        Same with just about everything else on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, etc. I always know what stand they are going to take and what their points are going to be, it’s all so dull.

          You two are precisely correct! I retired exactly 25 years ago, about the time some of these cable news channels were being born, and have watched their various partisan positions freeze into 100% predictable hard left- or hard-right propaganda over the years.

          The problem is that you have to channel-surf through ALL of them to get a TOTAL view of the news of the day, distorted as it is. If you only watched CNN and MSNBC, you’d only hear that the violent BLM riots in 2020 were mostly peaceful, while FOX insists that the Capitol Jan 6th riot was a heartfelt patriotic attempt to save democracy. You’d never hear of Joe Biden’s dope-fiend son on the lefty channels, or of the mis-deeds of the Trump children on Fox.You’d learn either that the Durham report is going to doom Trump and exonerate Hillary, or the exact opposite.Joe Biden is either brilliant, and his Voting Rights Act is essential to ensure fair national-wide elections, or it’s a clearly unconstitutional attempt to federalize state elections to guarantee Democratic victories forever.The Canadian truckers are violent anti-Democratic fascists provoking fights with the police, or are peaceful freedom fighters being rundown by police horses and forced to fight back against illegal arrests.

          So ALL the cable news channels LIE, spread viciously twisted propaganda, and — even worse — totally omit major news events that don’t fit their narrative. So you have to channel-surf through them all to get a complete report of the day’s events from all angles — so your brain can try to sort out some semblance of the truth.

          I’m old enough to remember the placid newscasts from the three original NBC,CBS, and ABC broadcast channels, where there was general agreement that America was on the right path, that our enemies were bad people who could be reasoned with, and the world wasn’t going to explode tomorrow.

          The only advantage of living today is that the current cable news channels’ non-stop cachaphony helps people my age fight off Alzheimer’s by forcing us to THINK deeply, and use JUDGEMENT, and decide for ourselves where the truth lies in all the waste within the well.
