Russia is bombing Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, and many other cities. The people of Russia are cheering. Putin is threatening the rest of the world with nuclear war.

    A commentator on CNN is talking about how Putin is in the process of “de-Nazifying” Ukraine.

          It was Putin himself who said Russia will conduct a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. I’m guessing the denazification will consist of killing activists, journalists, intellectuals, etc. – the people on the rumored kill lists.

          I’ve been glued to Youtube tonight. I grew up in Kiev. I doubt I’ll sleep this night.

    This is very bad news. Very sorry Clarissa….Years of bad foreign policy from DC. And now weak Biden and his puppet masters. Probably a ploy to take away more freedoms…

    Long term, Russia is done. Their demographics are crashing and they are going Soviet Union without the power and backing the Soviet Union had. They’re bound to repeat history.

      The problem is, in Russia they know that what you say is true. I’m very much afraid they might want to go out with a bang, taking their greatest foe with them.

      I don’t think anybody in the US realizes the extent of hatred that Russian people have for Americans.

    My aunt and her family are Russian citizens, living in a large city not too far from the border of those ‘republics’.

    They are currently preparing foreign passports (? documents to be able to travel abroad) for the entire family.

    I still do not believe they will decide to move to Israel despite everything.

    I am very sorry, Clarissa. I am sorry for the people of Ukraine. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that what has started in Ukraine will end badly for all of us, no matter where we are. There will be no winners (perhaps except a few oligarchs who will make money out of the suffering of others) when all is done with this war. If anyone is a believer, it is time to pray for mercy.

    I am angry. War is hell. I ache for this conflict to cease. I am praying that God will intervene and stop this madness. Praying for you, Clarissa, to have hope for the future. And praying for those impacted by the bombings to find a safe place to run. My prayers feel so small, but I believe in a GREAT BIG GOD.
