I take my baptismal name after the saint who’s commemorated with this statue in Kiev:

I’m glad she’s protected.

    f that statue were in the United States it would probably have been torn down by now. If still standing it certainly would not be protected.

      Good point. She was the earliest recorded Christian ruler in what’s now Ukraine and not dedicated to diversity and inclusion, let’s put it that way.

      What was done in Bucha is genocide, pure and simple. Russians murdered everybody they could as they retreated. And nobody will ever bear any responsibility because the West will pretend nothing happened to conceal from itself its own weakness.
