Glad to see somebody acknowledges the difficulty of ‘living like Israel.’ The rest of the world tends to ignore the costs of the conflict that Jews bear.
What Israelis are afraid of is that giving more land and/or opening Gaza to imports, including of arms, will make us more like Ukraine now or like Israelis lived in the past, with Jerusalem residents being afraid to stand on a balcony because of snipers from not controlled then by Israel part of Jerusalem.
Btw, Abbas is our supposed partner for peace, yet:
