Who Scared Musk?

I don’t know if anybody on here is following the attempts to share the movie What Is a Woman? on Twitter. It’s absolutely fascinating. Elon Musk clearly feels compelled to suppress the movie but can’t say so or explain why. The movie is very innocent. There’s literally nothing there that’s even mildly controversial by the standards of anybody who isn’t far to the left of Mao.

Elon Musk is fabulously rich. Why should he be so scared of simply letting the movie run? The guy is practically squirming, trying to wiggle out of taking down the “hate speech” designation on the movie.

I’m very curious who it is Musk is so reluctant to upset and why. There’s a bunch of “transwomen” among coders. The best coders, not some mediocre guys. Is Musk scared he won’t have a Twitter if he angers the ones working for him?

I have been aware of this for quite some time, and I find it infinitely fascinating. Among coders, and techies more generally, there is a much higher percentage of gender atypical and neuro-divergent people compared to the general population, and not just at Twitter, mind you.
Why is that the case? What are its causes? Why is nobody talking about this? Can anyone explain what hidden truths lie behind this curious phenomenon?
Eons ago, when I still used to be “gay”, I realised that an unusually high rate of fellow sex bandits were Star Trek aficionados and sci-fi fans. I thought then that there might be a correlation between sexual orientation and futurology but never pursued it further as I found such interests not just weird but positively alarming.

  2. ““transwomen” among coders”

Some time ago unperson Steve Sаilеr pointed out that a very high percentage of public ‘transwomen’ are not only autоgуnеphilеs but they very stereotypically aggressive men with a big streak of malignant autism, who don’t care who they hurt as long as they get what they want and what they want is people to shut up about them fulfilling their kinks in public.

I’ve seen lists of names of the some of the leading…. figures who are behind this bizarre push to normalize their behavior but I forgot to tab it and with search engines as useless as they are now….

      1. “they want people to be forced to celebrate it”

        It’s a hierarchy of needs…

at the lowest level: be quiet

at the mid level: be generally supporting and approving

        higher level: sincere enthusiastic approval

highest level: insincere enthusiastic approval (that is public vocal approval despite private qualms….)

  3. I think Musk has realized that buying Twitter was a disaster. He has already found a new CEO.

The biggest threat to Musk are the Tesla shareholders, who are threatening that if he doesn’t get back to his real job he won’t have a Tesla.

    1. Tesla is a heap of metal. It won’t love you back.

Musk is on Twitter constantly. I don’t think he does anything else. It must be deeply addictive to be so loved by millions and having such an enormous impact on what’s happening in the world.

Only a robot would choose Tesla over something like this.

  4. I think Musk buying Twitter wasn’t his decision. His fortune comes from government contracts and subsidies, Twitter is one of the best population-surveillance tools the alphabet agencies have ever had, and just before he bought it, the populations said agencies most want to surveil, suppress, isolate, and propagandize… were leaving the platform in droves. They needed a big public takeover-and-purge photo op to bring them back and make them trust the thing again.

I think the govt. backed his purchase, and the big public takeover, along with Taibbi et al getting “the goods” (or at least a highly edited version of them), and a bunch of banned accounts being brought back, was staged. A PR campaign to get subcultures who’d lost any faith in the platform to come back and keep reporting on themselves to the FBI, CIA, DHS, etc. “Buying” Twitter is just a thing he’s doing as a condition of other projects he actually cares about: rockets. You can’t do that without access to govt resources, facilities, and funding.

    1. This would mean a level of organization in the US government that I can’t imagine it having. It also means the government would endanger such a complex operation to cater to the whims of a few guys in skirts. And here’s a contradiction. It’s either a very well-organized operation or a mess where trans whining holds sway.

I think it’s much more realistic that it’s a few coders pouting.

      1. I sincerely hope so.

But I still deleted my Twitter acct after that experiment. None of the changes make it less toxic, less compulsive, or less optimized for dopamine hits and petty meanness.

Highly doubt it. His best coders are probably Chinese/Indians on H1B/student visas whose immigration status depend entirely on remaining at Twitter; so he knows he can get absolute obedience from them.

      1. Twitter has already been built. It doesn’t need any visionary coders. Most of the difficult technical problems of keeping it running are outsourced to Amazon.

        1. Exactly. At this point he just needs a skeleton crew to keep things running, and he’s proving that to have actually worked, barring some glitches.

His real visionaries, inventors, and rare talent are at SpaceX and Neuralink.

          1. Amazon is a computing utility company. They own the physical infrastructure that tech relies on to work. Their store is a minor part of their business. Their only real competitors in this market in the West are Microsoft and Google.

Outside of the West, only China has developed an alternative.

  6. This post aged like milk. Watch Elon and he clearly is passionate about childrens rights and hates trans movement obsession with children. I think he’s smart enough to have done it intentionally to actually increase its profile – intentional ‘Streisand effect’. He actually noted that several times. Either that or his own personal twitter ‘deep state’ thought they could get away with it under new CEO and didn’t think it would blow up the way it did.
