Breaking

Not true but still very funny.

Would that it were true one day.

  1. Well technically, I don’t know if we actually want Russia to break. Outright chaos tends to lead to a strongman rising to power, and while Putin is terrible, there are worse than him, and we don’t want such a person coming to power in Russia.

    1. True, but a civil war would seriously diminish them and Ukraine would be able to wipe them out Ukraine. There are huge potential benefits as well.

      1. It’s particularly curious to observe how nobody is trying to do anything to stop the PMC. Police just stand there and stare. Regular troops do the same. They are all waiting for orders while in Moscow the “leadership” is bickering about who’ll give the orders.

This is the exact opposite of what happened in Ukraine on 2/24/22 where citizens got armed, got organized and defended their cities. Nobody waited to be told what to do.

        It’s another mentality.

        1. Remember though that the Wagners are Russians too. They are not so much invaders, they just want to fix the military leadership so that Russia can more effectively murder Ukrainians like you’ve said. So they aren’t viewed by Russians in the way the Russian forces were viewed by Ukrainians. I also would think that regular troops, who lack the training of Wagner, and the police in particular, are afraid of them. I mean if you are a regular city cop and an elite heavily-armed mercenary military force comes rolling through, would you really want to do anything? They aren’t out to rape and kill your family or anything. And what could you do, minus get yourself killed?

          1. If Putin really sends the Chechens to fight Prigozhin, this will bring Prigozhin’s popularity into the stratosphere. Russians hate the Chechens. And they hate being a vassal of Chechnya.

            This will be fun.

  2. Things are moving very fast and it seems that Putin has totally lost control of the situation.
The easiness with which Wagner marched on Rostov and took over the city should be very troubling to Russian leadership.

    1. The regular army is now building defense lines on the road that leads to Moscow. Wagnerites are 5 hours away.

God knows, I never expected to root for the PMC Wagner but today I do. I don’t think they’ll reach Moscow. Russia is too bloody large. But it would be wonderful if they did. And most of the people in Russia would agree. Everybody hates Moscow.

        1. Kadyrovites have moved out to give battle to Wagnerites.

It’s a Muslim fighting a Jew while Christians are standing by. It’s really funny.
