Trump supporters on Breitbart and DeSantis supporters around Pedro Gonzalez are bickering over who is more racist.
There’s no better evidence of being completely clobbered by the opponent than to accept his worldview as the norm.
Next step: a primary debate among GOP candidates as to who is more guilty of “misgendering”.

That’s exactly what drives me nuts about all this. These kids who won’t get into Harvard will get into another great school. They will be perfectly fine. The real problems in education lie elsewhere.
At my department we will have lost half of our tenure lines by the summer of 2025. Half. Gone forever. The same process is happening everywhere. This means lower-quality, less affordable education for kids who really need it.
Instead I’m supposed to care about whether the next mega-woke SCOTUS clerk will be black or Asian. This all sounds like a bad joke.

Yeah. School system is trash where we live. My kids will be OK, because I teach them. But I’ve met the neighbors, their kids go to the schools, and I really don’t think home ed. is an option for them… which means they haven’t got any options. Profoundly ignorant, poorly behaved, and heavily medicated at ten… do they have any shot at an adulthood that doesn’t suck?

Sounds like SA’s school system. It’s much easier to focus on a few elite schools than trying to solve the real problem.

To be fair, he says some truly horrible stuff. But still, who cares? Gonzalez isn’t running for president here. The whole hullabaloo is part of what inspired me to take a break from twitter.
