Pass It On

The Aveeno Eczema Therapy cured the eczema that tortured me for years. I’d tried everything, cheap, expensive, experimental, herbal, medicated, home remedies, ancient wisdom – nothing worked. I’m spreading the news in case there are sufferers who don’t know this wonderful cream exists.

  1. OT riddle: What’s 19 km long, cost 3.7 billion dollars, connects occupied Ukraine to russia and got hit by missiles last night?

        1. I also want to note that a huge traffic jam of civilian Russian vehicles was formed next to the bridge. Ukrainians could have easily hit them, causing a large number of casualties. But they didn’t which shows an amazing restraint and humanity.

If it were in my hands, I would have hit them. It’s worth going to hell for. So I really respect people who are at a higher plane of moral development and who didn’t do it.

  2. My daughter unfortunately suffers from eczema, and my infant son even worse eczema/psoriasis (waiting on derm apt next month to get a proper diagnosis)…we’ve tried a lot of lotions and creams. My linen closet has a shelf full of just topical lotions and creams. I’ll add it to our mix! Right now I’m having ok success with Eucerin Eczema lotion (white tube with red cap) + a layer of Bag balm (which is mostly lanolin I think). Eczema stinks.

    1. If you have not done so yet, do an elimination diet for your son. As an infant, my child had a horrible eczema, and a big contributor to it was an allergy to dairy. It takes about 3 weeks to get the dairy out of the system completely. We ended up needing to use an elemental formula. After taking dairy completely out, the eczema became more manageable. The eczema was the only visible symptom of the allergy, there were no gastrointestinal issues that typically accompany such an allergy so it took us a long time to try the elimination diet (we have tried it out of desperation and it helped). My child also has an allergy to wheat, so unfortunately aveeno is not an option. Plain Vaseline is the best thing we found and we also needed prescription steroids to get it under control. Good luck, I hope you find some relief for your little guy.

      1. My daughter had horrible eczema that has since gone away after making a lot of changes which all helped: no more harsh detergents or soaps (not even All) we make our own powder laundry solution. Ditching carpets. Going gluten free and cutting out all synthetic dye additives in our food.

      2. My eczema is related to heating. I don’t know how but it comes with the heating season and then leaves once its over.

        Vaseline didn’t help at all.
