You Never Know

The father of Klara’s little friend taught his kids to make fun of people in wheelchairs. They play a game where they count “wheelchair freaks” at different big-box stores.

This is a guy with a fancy advanced degree in healthcare, of all things.

You just never know.

    “wheelchair freaks”

I’ve never heard more racist talk than from liberal (self-described ‘marxist’ social scientists). So this doesn’t surprise me greatly.

What did Klara think of that? I think I would have been scandalized at 6 years old! What did you say as you discussed it with her?

I told the kid it was a horrible thing to say and she responded with, “But my Daddy thinks it’s fine.” I feel bad that I criticized a kid’s dad in front of her but I needed to make my kid see that I don’t approve of this kind of thing. I couldn’t just sit there silently.

If this is the stuff they openly play about, wonder what games they play in private. Disturbing.

That man should not be anywhere near a healthcare job.

Apparently it never occurs to him that he could end up in a wheelchair himself some day.

I know understand the insistent talk during every pregnancy that they’ll abort if the child is imperfect.
