Too Many Shots

It’s really best to avoid both because nobody seems to understand how any of this works.

  1. Flu shot has been developed for years using the strain from the southern hemisphere winter during our northern hemisphere summer. It is perfectly safe.
The problem is putting 2 vaccines at the same time. My mom is a nurse and she always recommends having one vaccine at a time and weeks later the other. It limits the effort of the immune system and if there are any adverse symptoms, the cause is clear.
That said, the current covid vaccine doesn’t include the latest strain, so it won’t be so effective.

    1. The flu shot isn’t perfectly safe. It’s ok for many people but if you look at VAERS some people are harmed. It also doesn’t provide much protection. It is Advertised showing its relative risk reduction rather than its absolute risk reduction, just like they did to make the COVID vaccine look more effective.

  2. Well, it’s interesting that ABC news is willing to say it out loud now. Even if they’re still hedging with “preliminary”. I mean, the rest of us have known for like two years already, so it’s hard not to treat it like when the learning-disabled kids in the class finally get to where they can read, haltingly, out loud, but… good job, ABC! You’ve made some progress! Shall we vote you “most improved” in the yearbook?

The real question is, are they gonna catch up, or will they stay 2-3 years behind the new media forever?
