It’s fun to laugh at “Queers for Palestine” slogans but it’s not true that people who hold them “don’t know” how gays are treated in Palestine. They know very well. And they have their own explanation that, to them, justifies their position completely. We are making a mistake in not finding out what it is.
The theory which “gays and feminists for Palestine” have embraced is that a dislike of gays, racism, sexism, economic inequality, and all other bad things were invented and imposed by evil, Western, white settler-colonialism on good, pure, egalitarian indigenous populations. If Palestinians kill gays it’s because they spent so much time under Western control that they forgot their original pro-gay beliefs and absorbed Western “hate”.
Stupid as this all sounds, this is what is taught in US schools to children. We should pay attention because all of those young people with green hair and nose rings who march for Palestine have been taught since kindergarten about the paradise of freedom and equality that existed among “indigenous communities” before “Western colonialism” perverted them.
This explanation of history was initially created by the philosopher of the Enlightenment Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Much later, it was adapted for the US education system by Howard Zinn. And now it’s the only version of history kids are taught.
If you didn’t know all this, the real dupe isn’t a queer trans feminist marching in support of Hamas but you.

I just read the article from The Frankfurter Allgemeine linked from that tweet. I have actually been to the small town where this is happening. It’s a total nowheresville in one of the poorest regions of Germany with a population that has been sinking steadily since the 90s. There’s no way that there are enough immigrants of any type there to be a factor in any local decision. They definitely have more neo-Nazis than Muslims in that area.
On the (possibly?) positive side, the fact that the Frankfurter Allgemeine (Germany’s most prominent newspaper) has written a story about it is probably an indication that the national media and higher levels of government are going to try to shame them into keeping the name.

Returning Gaza to Israeli government jurisdiction likewise returns 2.5 million Arab dhimmi refugees. The Jewish state needs to remove foreign Arab alien populations from living within the borders of Israel. And NOT more than double the number of Arabs living under the Administration of the Jewish state.

Israel opens a humanitarian corridor every day, and Hamas is unhappy. Somebody commented that Hamas loves photos of dead Palestinian (and Jewish) children, but hates and tries to hide the sight of citizens being able to go to a safer place.
Btw, am glad Bernie is normal. He always looked like a very nice person to me.

Bernie Sanders has been getting a lot of hate from his own supporters for his decent and humane position on Hamas. I’m glad that he’s staying strong and not recanting under an enormous amount of pressure. In his circles, being against Hamas is the worst crime.

Israeli – sells the coffee to the Frenchman, sells the fly to the Chinese, sells the cup to the Italian, drinks a cup of tea, and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee.
Hamas Terrorist – blames the Israeli for the fly falling into his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, the Chinese, the German and the Russian are all trying to explain to the Israeli that he should give away his cup of coffee to the Palestinians so there will be peace.

Ukrainian – accuses his brother of selling out to the Russians and sabotaging the coffee on purpose under the influence of the Russian pro-fly propaganda.
American – sets up an office to investigate fly hatred and conduct inclusivity exercises to benefit the fly community.
