I know what she means. I became a Zionist on October 7, 2023. Whatever Hamas intended to achieve, they ended up turning many people who were tepid towards Israel into ardent, passionate supporters.
Also, people with teenage kids, please talk to them about this. They are hearing incredible garbage on social media. Show them the river and the sea on the map. They are being told that “from the river to the sea” means “support human rights everywhere”. That’s the prevalent narrative on TikTok and Instagram in the teenage age bracket.
The unconditional surrender of Hamas means the return of the 240 stolen captives of the Oct 7th massacre of 1400 Jews. Followed by the mass population transfer of all Arabs in E. Jerusalem and Samaria to the Gaza Palestinian state.

“mass population transfer”
There is something wrong when you need to resort to political double speak to say something nasty to avoid sounding like the bad guy.

Hello ed
Do you remember the political vacuum that happened in both Iraq and Libya? The anarchy and Civil War that ensued and plagues both countries to this very day?
Israel made peace with Arafat’s PLO based upon his promise that the PLO served as the sole representative of the Palestinian people. Yet the 2006 Gaza elections the PLO/PA Party lost!
To uproot Hamas means that Israel must replace the political void with PA Arabs currently within E. Jerusalem and Samaria to establish a PA Gazan Palestinian state. To call such a move “evil” only exposes your “evil eye”.

I don’t imagine jewish people are feeling very safe in Israel right now. Seems they are far safer in any Western country, barring some easily avoidable protesting hot spots.
I also don’t buy into this Hamas are evil, therefore the Israeli government are angels. Sure, Hamas managed to unite their society temporarily, but the underlying faults are still there. Have people already forgotten how badly divided Israel was before Oct 7th? Do you really think the underlying issues just go away?
