Referring to mass migration as “an invasion” is as stupid as calling January 6 “an insurrection.”
People are being extraordinary drama queens. “Life-saving COVID vaccines”, “sleepwalking into WW3.” Gushing excitedly like 14-year-old swifties. “I feel unsafe”, “our democracy is at risk”, “this is fascism”, “books are banned”.
People truly need some actual hardship in their lives to gain perspective.
A very liberal friend said the other day, “You know, I’m starting to think that at least some of these people aren’t refugees at all. I think some of them might be economic migrants. And maybe they shouldn’t be here at all.”
It felt like talking to a kid who finally figured out how to put m and e into “me”.
Too slow. Horses all left that barn like two years ago. Qui bono, though? This is a massive, massive effort that is not remotely just the US. It’s the US and nearly every country in Europe, supported by the ruling class, against the will of the population, and funded by…. NGOs that receive govt money. Is that really just globalist WEF bastards, or is it enemy action? Like, it’s hard to imagine anything on that *scale* being anything other than backed by a hostile government. Russia? China? At what point are we gonna realize that USAID and Red Cross and all those “charity” organizations are fronts for hostile governments? Oh, right, the US is giving them a bunch of funding. We are one of the hostile governments. How did that happen? Why? Does it have something to do with all those bribes China paid to our president? Is that going on with Congress and all the officials in the EU too?

It’s a paradigm shift in culture, or, if you prefer, in mentalities. The elites – which benefit from the chaos brought about by massive population movements, without being exposed to any of the drawbacks – have been successful at promoting their views among the “New clerics” – academics, media people, college-educated youths under thirty, and, crucially, all the “movers and shakers” in strategic centres of power, the administration in the alphabet agencies, the State Department, the justice system.
The ship has sailed and is well on its course, and unless the members of the crew mutiny against the captain and the officers, it will continue on its route until it collides with reality. After that, all guesses are on.
The problem is that all these “elites” and their cleric sycophants are under the impression there won’t be any mutinies, or if there are, it’ll be Maillotins and not — something that can be quickly and violently put down, with the bonus of further stripping the hoi polloi of any material possessions they value.
Perhaps they’re right. Maybe importing a competing plebian mass to destroy cultural cohesion is a brilliant strategy to keep the peasants fighting each other, and unable to organize against their overlords.
But it seems risky. Perhaps they’re underestimating, and our age can still produce a Sons of Liberty. They should be so lucky. That was born out of a remarkably educated populace, and they were pretty civilized as revolutionaries go. Far more likely it’ll produce a French-Revolution style bloodbath– depends on how deep a well of resentment they store up for themselves, maybe. I’m sure that’s what the bunkers are about– hedging their bets and all. They can smell the possibility. Seems silly though. Bunkers will get boring fast, and there’s nothing stopping the locals from burying your little hobbit door in several tons of concrete, and telling their children stories about the ogre under the hill.

Yeah, I don’t think it’ll work either, but I also think whatever our current lifestyle and lifespan expectations are… they’re gonna be drastically lower by the time my kids are middle aged.
Civilization and prosperity are fragile, and these jerks do not appreciate what we’ve got.

J6 was not an insurrection, but it was definitely something. Have a friend who was there. Got a bad feeling, saw some people doing sketchy things, and opted out of touring the capitol bldg– said something was just not right. Has spent the intervening years frantically pulling strings and working connections to get friends out of jail, and trying to get the word out that it was a setup. Is on *all* the lists now, but does not care b/c terminal illness.
The border thing… may not be an invasion, but certainly bears watching, for a lot of reasons. Not least of which is that there’s still apparently an active militia movement in the US, they’ve just learned some opsec since the 90s. The TX situation seems optimized to draw them out. It’ll be interesting to see if they take the bait.

A boisterous protest by those unsatisfied with the way the elections in November were…. handled…. and a provocation by the establishment which mixed the two (the protest and its provocation) together so that it’s hard to pull the strands apart.

The so called insurrection was nothing more than a riot by citizens justifiably angered by questionable behavior during the election, Most of those involved could have been armed had they intended a coup.
However, the use of the term invasion is fully justified, not only in the USA, but in much of the West. Most of the invaders are impoverished ,and poorly educated and of little value to most in the West because even those finding employment will negatively impact working class salaries. Most will impoverish the West by overwhelming social services, only the elites may benefit with cheap servants…if they can avoid the guillotine. History might not necessarily repeat, but it sure as hell rhymes ;-D
