We Were So Normal

The underlying structure of sexuality is composed of the gender dimorphism, which engenders a psychic duality including “gender tension”, of sexual reproduction, of the enigmas of sexual attraction and feelings of arousal and love, and of the palpable physical quality of sensations. Some feminists are as reluctant to recognize this solid core of
gender and sexuality as are those neosexuals who advertise themselves as modular multi-inventers. Yet this core remains solid because no “bio-man”, for instance, will
ever truly know what the onset of menstruation, what pregnancy or abortion, birth or breast-feeding or the natural loss of fertility at an age that is hardly regarded as
advanced today really mean. Inalterably linked with physical gender, these events have tremendous effects on the body and the soul.

Only 20 years ago, this was a position that a scholar could express openly in a scientific journal. And look what we did since then.

What’s really weird is how much of why US scholars are afraid to say this now boils down to snake-oil capitalism (selling harmful procedures as ‘medicine’), the seжuаl fetish of a handful of hyper-masculine men…. (and the perpetual desire of the power elite to seжuallу violate сhildгеп, we have to remember that part).

(potentially hot button words are disgиised by randоm non-latiп letters, I don’t know if that works but I hope it does….)

  2. In literally 15 years the discourse went from “It’s sexist to suggest that little girls cannot play with toy trucks. Of course they can!” to “Little girls playing with toy trucks is evidence they’re secretly boys. Time for a mastectomy!”

I’ve never understood arguments for transgenderism. Either God is the creator of the universe, in which case all physical life forms are according to God’s design, therefore cannot be flawed or “incorrect.”

    OR

There is no God, and all matter is nothing but a collection of atoms configured by happenstance and selective biological pressures, in which case it’s absurd to say that matter is configured incorrectly. How can organisms be “meant” to be anything other than what they are?

Transgenderism is a quasi-religious claim that people have a spirit/soul that was somehow deposited in the wrong physical body. By whom, God? Oh wait, aren’t these motherfuckers proudly godless?

    1. There’s an interview in Robbie Starbuck’s movie with a girl whose breasts were cut off at 13. Thirteen! Everybody involved should be in jail. This is Dr Mengele kind of stuff, and we are all supposed to applaud it. I could barely watch the interview with this poor mutilated child whose whole life was thwarted out of wanton cruelty. And we can barely scare up a couple of Republican governors to ban this horror show.
