I like you, Polish people, but what fresh hell is this:

    It’s fermented flour (probably wheat). You pour most of the clear liquid into soup as seasoning. Then you can add more water to the bottle and in a week or so it’ll be ready for soup again (I’ve used one bottle three or more times).

    They have it in Romania too but I think they sell just the clear liquid without the flour.

    I don’t get why the label is in English since anyone who knows what to do with it should also know the name in Polish. And technically it’s not even right. What’s in the bottles is ‘biały żur’ (white… żur / fermented flour). White borscht is the final soup, very popular around Easter. I even posted about it a few years ago:
