A Great Short Video

The best video I’ve seen in days is this one:

The president of Guyana shuts down a smug Western journalist: “Who are you to lecture us on climate change?”

The rudeness and entitlement of the Lefty journalist is off the charts. Please watch. It’s just a couple of minutes long, and it gives the entire problem of why everybody in the world is tired of the obnoxious Anglo preaching in a nutshell.

  1. Ah, such a slimy attitude too: “Oh, look, you have all these fossil energy resources– don’t you think it’s horribly immoral to sell them to benefit your very poor country and its citizens? Why not leave them in the ground and wait for us your God-appointed betters to come overthrow your government so we can take it for free?”

    1. Go starve to support our favorite hobby of feeling sorry for ourselves.

I’m glad the Guyana politician shut this fellow down aggressively. We are all fed up to the gills with people like him.

  2. I liked the video except for his repeated insistence that the west pay them. That rubbed me the wrong way. It’s already happening – Pakistan blaming climate change for floods and asking for compensation from the west explicitly in the name of climate change, when it is their poor water management to blame. I suspect it’ll happen much more in the future. As if guilt-ridden westerners need another excuse to make transfer payments to the third world, which are used to enrich corrupt local politicians.

Climate change will also be used to shovel more migrants to the west. Good times!

  3. When the Key bridge collapsed last week (I can see the wreckage from a local park) I was waiting for a headline: “Key bridge in Baltimore collapses: trans women of color impacted most”.
