Conspiracy

Spain won’t stop cramming its propaganda down our gullers even at the airport:

I wouldn’t have noticed if the bloody rainbow hadn’t been thrust at us in every public space for two weeks.

I’m starting to suspect that the whole “Pride month” thing is a conspiracy by a group of rabid homophobes.

    1. What the dye is hiding about those sausages? I’m sure there’s an entire story of provenance of the dye, the sausages, the farm, the table, the ark, the parade…

  1. Did you actually purchase the cookie and someone bit it, just randomly took a picture of it at the airport, or is this a stock photo?

I’m going to go eat a croissant and joke about proselytizing. Later I will have a fit upon seeing some dates and then complain about the stealth conversion of yoga at the YMCA. Then I will have some cleansing ham snacks. :-p

  2. Was the cookie good, at least? Trust me, the poor cookie may be offensive to some people because it does not have enough colors in it.

    1. I don’t eat cookies and detest even the word “cookie.” But this amount of food coloring attracts children and is clearly not good for eating purposes.

Ah, Clarissa, you beat me to the punch. I was about to ask you if at least the cookie tasted good, but never mind…

        1. That would make them more palatable to me but a biscuit to me is different. It should be spongy and soft. Not the overdried atrocity that usually goes for cookies.

      2. I also detest the word cookie. And words like gorgeous, tummy, belly, or expressions like “eye doctor.” And I detest the word cookie even more when French people use it in French: un cookie. BISCUIT, for god sake!

        1. Also, hubby. I can’t deal with hubby. And “fur babies” or when people call themselves parents of their pets.

Enjoy Madrid! I wish I could have stayed for longer v

          1. When it comes to words, we have the same dislikes, really. I enjoy Madrid thoroughly. I went to little bookstores this afternoon and now I am looking for some theatre, even if we are off season a bit.

            I love this place. Thanks!
