Teaching Prop

I developed a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotic I was taking to treat my previous ailment. I so rarely take any meds that I had no idea I was badly allergic to sulfas.

The funny part is that I’m covered with an aggressive, disfiguring rash. And next week I’m going to teach about the infectious diseases Europeans brought to the New World during the Spanish conquest. Picture me saying, “And then the Indians started getting covered with this rash that they couldn’t explain, and then they started dying” while taking off my jacket and revealing a terrible rash that covers me.

Gotta make the best out of existing conditions.

  1. The issue your large intestine. This organ compares to the 1st stomach of a cow. It grows and matures billions of pro-biotic bacteria your body must have in order to live. Anti-biotics kill and destroy the good/bad bacteria ratio within our guts/large intestines. Eating fiber and Chia seeds, drastically remove carbohydrates from your diet. The large intestine with its gut good bacteria digests fiber and Chia seeds like the 1st stomach of a cow breaks down plant cellulose. You probably have loose bowel movements due to an imbalance of your good/bad bacteria in your gut. Fiber and water the first rule in good health. Take 9 grams of Sea Salt, i like salt for swimming pool purification, to a litre of water. This will flush out your gut and cleanse your blood in the process. When I raise cattle I filtered all the water they drank. Stop drinking sugar based carbonated sodas. The equivalent of drinking gasoline!

    1. Cows take 9 months to wean their calves. Nothing more traumatic, worse than even dehorning cattle! Pigs far more intelligent than stupid cows and goats. Piglets walk behind their mothers and eat their mothers’ poop. Why? That mother poop contains the bacteria needed to digest plant cellulose! If you have loose bowel movements, you really need to eat shit. In terms of food, fiber rated as shit in terms of nutritional value. LOL.

  2. Oh no, I had the same thing happen to me a year ago. A bit scary to know that one common antibiotic does not work for me anymore. It is really unsettling to have one health problem after the other. I hope things calm down for you soon, the rash disappears and the new antibiotic helps!

    1. I went to the ER immediately. I’m now on steroids and a bunch of other stuff and it’s clearing up.

I’ve had more different illnesses since June than in the entire previous decade. It’s very annoying.

          1. If it went far enough, the next stage will look like a bad sunburn, with outer layer of skin peeling off. You can plan some lectures on the dangers of a nuclear war (or falling asleep on a beach in Mexico).

            1. Fuck. I hope it doesn’t get there. I’m very impressionable, so now that I know I might develop the symptom psychosomatically. 🙂

I’m hopped up on steroids as if my personality wasn’t already too intense.

              1. I have every faith that your diet and lifestyle is sufficiently healthy that as soon as you get in front of students again, everything will revert to normal healthiness!
