Some interesting tidbits trickling out about the latest would-be assassin in FL:
“The judge also asked Routh if he was able to afford his own defense attorney or if he needed a public defender. Routh said he does not have enough income, and when asked by the judge, said he makes about $3,000 a month, has zero savings and owns zero real estate. Routh also told the court he has two trucks in Hawaii worth about $1,000 each, partially supports his 25-year-old son and does not own any jewelry.”
If true, he is broke. One wonders about his travel budget. I can’t afford to go to Hawaii, where he’s from. But he can afford to come to my state? All by himself? Was he making more money when he was a high-flying international traveler?

The only question there is how many other people were involved, and who are they?

I heard that the Secret Service is busy investigating Elon Musk’s response to the assassination attempt, so I don’t think they’ll have time to investigate the actual assassination attempt.

State of FL has taken on its own investigation, says fedgov has a “conflict of interest” because they’re simultaneously trying to prosecute Trump.
Could be nothing. Could be fun. We’ll see.
One does very much suspect that these crazies would have continued to be a mere local nuisance, without outside support.
