The Farce of Early Voting

I received this sample ballot in the mail yesterday:

Can anybody explain this to me?

Also, this is one of the many reasons why early voting that’s done months in advance and by mail is a horrible idea. We should all be united in opposing it. We are being robbed and we just bat our eyelashes and feel abjectly grateful for the “convenience.”

  1. Especially seeing as Kennedy has been struck off the ballot. If it is an actual sample and not an official ballot, that may actually be why—the ballots were already made up so they’re using them as examples.

  2. It’s a sample ballot. And usually there aren’t so many last minute candidate drop outs and changes in top races.

It’s good to help figure out who and what to vote for in downlevel races like judges and state rep races and amendments ahead of time.

I’m writing in Frankenstein and Count Chocula because I approve of their stances on biomedical research and mathematical numeracy. I’m voting against the weed amendment.

My current rep is a gunfluencer and children’s book author who has consistently voted against aid to Ukraine and sued twitter for not verifying her.

I don’t know if her opponent is less of a ditz.
