The history of plagiarism by Kamala Harris is very long and fascinating. It’s impossible to list all of the currently known examples here but I wanted to mention a really egregious case.
Harris took a fictionalized story about an imaginary prostitute in Washington, DC and copied it almost verbatim, changing only the location to pretend that this was a real event in California:

In Harris’s retelling, “Kelly” became a real person rescued from pimps in San Francisco. It’s truly bizarre that an Attorney General would steal fictional material and present the events in it as her achievement.
Nobody accidentally misspells Washington as San Francisco. This isn’t simply plagiarism. This is intentional misleading of the worst caliber. And again, this is one of a very large number of examples.
Blame the ghostwriter, to be fair.

It’s Harris’s name on the cover, so the responsibility is fully hers.

what are the odds this matters to anyone on the left? At least she’s not Trump they will think.

It doesn’t. People have gotten themselves to the point where “but 37 felonies” is the only thing they are prepared to see.
