I have no idea myself, all the websites I’ve seen are just posting gossip. Right now I’m chilling out by cooking a pot of vegetarian curry, drinking wine and watching Monterey Pop, that was a famous 60s rock festival in Monterey, California that featured rock legends Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and a lot of very cool 60s psychedelic music
I’m just going to be posting funny tweets all day.
Wow. This could be big. Early turnout suggests Jill Stein is winning a massive share of voters who have set up GoFundMes to escape toxic roommate situations
Trump is doing better in PA than anybody expected but is it better enough? Of course, PA was stolen from us in 2020 but this time he’s improving even in mail-in ballots.
Well, to be fair, we legalized *medical* mj a few years back (I voted for that one, even), and we’ve all had a good long time to see how that worked out.
Parents generally not thrilled with the randos smoking weed at playgrounds where we take our kids. Only the stoners think they drive better while high. They could still maybe get it passed if somebody came out with an odorless version. But the modern strains everybody is using these days are so noxious that anybody who’s ever lived next door to a potsmoker or rented a house to one is now rabidly anti-legalization.
I think for a lot of us, it’s like sex: we don’t mind what you’re doing, as long as you don’t do it in public! Unfortunately, pot smokers seem determined to make their gross personal habits everyone else’s business.
What many people don’t get is that the marijuana grown in a lab with rocket scientists in 2024 is not the same product as the crappy weed hippies were smoking in Woodstock. This is far more potent and dangerous.
Thank heavens! My vote wasn’t going to count on most things, but I showed up at the polls today specifically to vote against pot legalization and no-holds-barred abortion in the friggin’ state constitution (those are LEGISLATIVE issues, people, not constitutional rights).
The idiot pundits on MSNBC (Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell) are scratching their heads in dismayed confusion, because they’re amazed that in several states voters have chosen Trump but have simultaneously voted against draconian anti-abortion bills on the ballot.
Obviously the far left pundits (the only kind allowed on MSNBC) believe that all the people who vote for Trump are one-dimensional troglodytes who think and act the same way.
(I watch MSNBC sometimes when I need some comedy relief.)
That was insane. We all went to bed and woke up to news that just the right number of votes magically appeared in PA sometime in the night (and without any election supervision) to flip the election result.
Trump is up by 36 points among Hispanics in Michigan since the 2020 election. The Dem coalition is cracking as latinos are rejecting the rainbow crowd.
Some serios reckoning and soul searching is in order for Democrats. They’re having a total crash against reality. Their eco chamber bubbles have totally burst.
How is it possible to run these unlikeable women twice. It’s like they never learn. At the least I expect them to cease with these DEI experiments and actually run likeable competent people next time.
Well, clearly the reason people didn’t vote for the unlikable woman last time, was she wasn’t diverse enough. So then they had to run an unlikable woman, but *not white*.
Even worse than that. Kamala never even won a Democratic convention. Clearly a DEI candidate they thought would win based solely on race and gender. In that regard she was even worse than Hilary.
That’s two elections in a row the dems have done that. Didn’t they steal the nomination from Bernie last time around? Do their voters not get tired of being cut out of their own primaries?
…next time, they’re gonna figure it was because they didn’t tick the *sexual minority* tickbox, and they’ll have to run an unlikable minority *transwoman*.
Looks like Republicans will have a huge mandate to fix all the shit they’ve been complaining about for the past years. Anybody here optimistic they’ll actually get anything done this time?

I think we should know fairly early when we get numbers for Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Also, if the Selzer poll numbers appear correct, then we can almost guarantee Trump is toast.

Actually, not true. Trump is still competitive in VA. Extraordinary.

But it really looks like the RNC is doing its job this time around and preventing this kind of thing from happening.

Hey, they already have conjured a term for it. It’s called multiracial whiteness.
