Maybe They Won’t Notice Us

The Chinese vessel NewNew Polar Bear destroyed the undersea gas pipeline Balticconnector between Finland & Estonia last year

Yesterday, the Chinese vessel Yi Peng destroyed 2 telecom cables connecting Finland-Germany & Sweden-Lithuania.

The West can’t pretend nothing is going on.

Oh, yes, it can and it will because it’s well-known that pretending a problem doesn’t exist is the best way to solve it.

  1. LOL. Germany still ignores the US/Ukraine involvement in the nordstream pipeline blowup. So I guess they’ve had some practice in ignoring things.

      1. The idea that Ukraine could blow up nordstream and Germany not just ignoring it but practically celebrating the ensuing suicide of its industrial sector, without US consent and involvement is insane.

That this is a “lib” talking point about US being omnipotent is a strawman argument.

The destruction of Germany’s industrial sector is the result of intersecting terrible policies pursued with single-minded purpose for many years.

German energy policy: dismantling nuclear energy = own goal

German migration policy: almost half of German welfare payments go to non-citizens, most of whom have never and will never contribute to the German economy

German russia policy: Germany went all in on russia, betting its economic and inustrial base that russia had changed and was now a reliable party while arrogantly dismissing concerns of countries like the Baltics, Poland and Finland.

Trying to engage with russia (wandel durch handel) was not the worst idea but they need a plan B, But Germans don’t do back up plans they go whole hog in one direction until they hit a brick wall (and then keep trying to break through which is where they are now).

            1. Never works.

Ignoring the redefining on the term extremists that is constantly ongoing. A lot of the so called extreme right is a reaction to actions by the left and the “moderates” also known as those who bend themselves over the barrel any time the left so much as looks at them.

I love bringing up 1930s Germany, because it makes a perfect point in this. The most extreme of the right wing governments. Yet if it weren’t for the actions of the Leftist, and the bending over of the centralist during the Wiemar Government, there would likely have never been a Nazi Party.

I have said it again and again, as have hundreds of thousands if not millions throughout history. You cannot compromise with evil. It doesn’t stop. It never stops. All a centralist government gets is a slightly slower slide into depravity and wickedness. Followed by a massive backlash once reality sets in.

If you want a stable government it needs to be nationalist, and slightly to the right. If the left or the centralist aren’t running things the so called extremist right wing generally quiets down.

The opposite is not true. If the Right is running things, the extremists left go crazy till they are exiled or tossed in prison. If the centralists are running things, the extremist left get their way, less quickly perhaps, but they still get it. If the left are running things, a country is racing full speed into depravity, wickedness, and pure evil.

They. Do. Not. Stop. Unless. They. Are. Stopped.

Stop asking us to compromise with the wicked, and pull your head out of your rear.

              1. Who are “the left” though? The current president of SA was originally a trade umionist, and the socialists consider him a sellout for negotiating with capital rather than siezing control of the means of production.

First, blowing up that cursed pipeline was a boon to the world, so whoever did it: GREAT JOB!

Second, where is the proof about who actually did it?

      1. Trump, by the way, always opposed the building of that pipeline. So whoever blew it up achieved the result advocated by Trump for years. Obviously, I’m not saying that Trump is involved in any way. If he were involved, it wouldn’t have been built at all. Biden allowed it to be built. So are we supporting Biden’s or Trump’s position regarding Nordstream?
